Jiangdu announced that at present, the production workshop of Jiangsu Rongtai Industrial Co., Ltd. (“Rongtai Co., Ltd.”), a listed company of aluminum alloy die-casting auto parts, is running at full capacity, and the steering system, transmission and Precision die-casting products such as systems are placed in an orderly manner, waiting for delivery. These die-casting parts mainly provide terminal support for the passenger car market, with more than 8 million passenger cars a year, and have achieved good results in the subdivision of passenger car electric power steering housings.
It is understood that Rongtai Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise integrating mold research and development and manufacturing, aluminum alloy die-casting, and precision machining. There are multiple manufacturing, warehousing bases, R&D centers and sales service offices in Asia, America and Europe. At present, the company has 6 factories at home and abroad, namely Yangzhou Jiangdu No. 1 Factory, Yangzhou Jiangdu No. 2 Factory, Zhuhai Factory, Mexico Factory, Mould Factory and Surface Treatment Factory.
Rongtai shares were listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on February 24, 2021. As the automobile industry develops towards intelligence and electrification, Rongtai Co., Ltd. actively expands the business of new energy vehicles and continuously extends the industrial layout. In December 2021, the company released a plan for the issuance of convertible bonds, and plans to raise funds to invest in the new energy vehicle aluminum alloy parts project and the second phase of the Mexico plant to further expand the new energy vehicle business.

Zhu Huaxia also introduced that in order to meet the needs of high-end customers for high-precision machining, as early as 2016, Rongtai Co., Ltd. newly launched the SAP software system to comprehensively deploy enterprise informatization and intelligent applications. Rongtai’s automobile steering gear casing is die-casted, and the robot swings the arm flexibly to realize the complete production process from automatic pick-up, trimming, deburring, and lowering of the frame.
Zhang Weizhong, deputy general manager of Rongtai Co., Ltd., said: This die-casting production workshop has 22 die-casting islands and 44 robots, and nearly 100 million yuan has been invested in software and robot automation alone. In the past five years, Rongtai has invested a total of 250 million yuan in equipment, and the aluminum alloy precision die-casting intelligent workshop alone has 116 intelligent equipment (sets). “At present, Rongtai’s die-casting workshop has been approved as a provincial-level intelligent manufacturing demonstration workshop. By replacing people with machines, production is intelligent, errors caused by manual operations are avoided, and product accuracy and quality are greatly improved.
