Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Report: Industrial enterprises stop production and limit production, and the prevention and control of air pollution has achieved remarkable results

Recently, the Capital Development Research Institute of Peking University released the “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Development Report 2022”. The report evaluates the effectiveness of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development and governance from the aspects of urban agglomeration spatial structure, industrial coordinated development, ecological environment governance, and transportation network construction.

Among them, the prevention and control of air pollution has achieved remarkable results. From 2013 to 2018, the proportion of days with air quality reaching the standard in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the difference in the annual average concentration of PM2.5 showed a decreasing trend, indicating that the air pollution control situation is relatively ideal. In terms of overcapacity reduction in polluting industries, Beijing steelmaking, coking, foundry and other large-scale enterprises have relocated as a whole or part of their production links, and many cities in Hebei have introduced differentiated off-peak production or production stoppages and production restrictions for heavily polluting industrial enterprises such as cement, chemicals, and steel. policy.

Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, in accordance with the requirement of “playing a game of chess in three places and adhering to the integrity”, breaks through the barriers of transportation infrastructure for regional cooperation, comprehensively builds a collaborative working mechanism, coordinates the deployment of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei transportation construction tasks, and improves the level and capacity of transportation services in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. , so that the degree of interconnection is rapidly enhanced. The regional land transportation network is dense, and the comprehensive transportation capacity of various transportation facilities in the region is continuously enhanced. Within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, highways and railways have become the main force of intercity transportation, undertaking most of the intercity passenger and freight transportation tasks. The passenger capacity of rail transit has been greatly improved.
