With his assiduous research on the mold production process, he changed the manual processing method of mold processing in Shaodong hardware industry, and realized the numerical control and intelligence of mold production and processing. In the 18 years since he started his business, his dedication and dedication to the mold processing industry has explained to us the connotation of Chinese craftsmanship spirit. He is Li Ping, the legal person, technical director and engineer of Shaodong Mingxing Precision Mould R&D Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Li Ping, who was born in Shaodong in 1986, came to Shenzhen alone at the age of 18 and became an apprentice in a mold company. In the past 5 years, he has been diligent in learning and hardworking, and has finally mastered the whole process of mold production. In 2008, Li Ping, who returned from his studies, saw that people in his hometown were still using manual processing of molds. The production cost was high, the product quality was unstable, and the production efficiency was much lower. As a result, he came up with the idea of opening a factory to process molds by himself, and established Shaodong Mingxing Precision Mold R&D Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in partnership with a friend, becoming the first enterprise in Shaodong to process hardware molds with computer numerical control equipment.
In the early days of the business, in order to save costs, the company only had Li Ping alone. He needed to meet customer needs, and he completed everything from product design, computer graphics, and production processes. Change drawings, debug equipment, make mistakes and start all over again. Li Ping often does not go home for several days in a row, and sleeps in the workshop when he is tired. The sound of the machine roaring has become his best “lullaby”.
“I used to draw, program, and operate the machine alone, and I was really tired. When I was sleepy, I would take a nap beside the equipment, and the machine would roar next to my ear. When the machine stopped, I woke up and fell asleep listening to the sound of the machine. It’s more fragrant.” Li Ping told reporters with a smile.
Li Ping is not only strict with himself, but also with his employees. Zheng Guochang, 22, has been with Li Ping’s company for four years. Under his guidance, he is now a skilled CNC operator.
“My boss is also my master. He is very strict with us. He is serious and responsible for his work, and is meticulous.” Zheng Guochang said.
After Li Ping’s unremitting efforts, his company is also growing step by step, with 30 employees and an annual output value of over 10 million. He not only made the hardware mold processing company the largest in the local area, but also improved the production efficiency and quality of hardware products by improving the process. He introduced Shaodong’s first CNC automatic machine tool, which realized the automation of processing of stamping dies and forging dies of Shaodong hardware tools, and greatly improved the processing efficiency. At present, 99% of Shaodong’s hardware tool molds are designed and processed by him; more than 90% of the hardware tool industry patents are modeled by him.
“Skilled workers also have a bright future. The craftsman spirit belongs to the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. It is reflected in specific jobs. It is to be dedicated, dedicated, and work hard, and constantly improve yourself and strive for perfection.” Li Ping said.
