At present, the world’s major changes unseen in a century are accelerating, the domestic and international epidemic situation is complicated, the domestic economy is rebounding strongly, the prices of bulk commodities and the main raw and auxiliary materials of casting are rising rapidly, the energy structure is adjusted, and the steel casting industry is facing new opportunities and challenges. The China Foundry Association issued the outline of the “14th Five-Year Development Plan for China’s Foundry Industry”, which pointed out the direction for the development of the foundry industry. Therefore, the Cast Steel Working Committee of the China Foundry Association plans to hold the “2021 Annual Meeting of the Cast Steel Working Committee of the China Foundry Association” in Shenyang, Liaoning from October 22 to 24, 2021.
