The second phase of Boao’s magnesium-aluminum project covers an area of about 36 acres. It mainly builds a die-casting machine processing workshop, a magnesium particle production workshop, a magnesium alloy raw material workshop, a comprehensive warehouse, a shift building, a machine repair workshop, and the reconstruction of a fire pump room.
“In order to fight for the construction period, we adopted a parallel and multi-party operation method, invested 6 excavators, engineering vehicles and more than 50 construction personnel in the construction process, rationally arranged the construction process, and made every effort to catch up with the construction progress.” Peng Zenghai, the site leader of the contractor of the project, said that at present, the main construction of the main steel structure of the roof of the production building such as the new die-casting machine processing workshop and the magnesium particle production workshop has been completed. Form the entire industrial chain and further improve the competitiveness of the enterprise.” Qin Xianyue, deputy general manager of Chongqing Boao Magnesium Aluminum Metal Manufacturing Co., Ltd., said that after the project is completed and put into production, it will form 20,000 tons of magnesium alloy raw materials per year and 72,000 tons of magnesium alloy particles. Annual production capacity of 900,000 pieces (sets) of medium and large-scale magnesium-aluminum alloy auto parts, achieving sales revenue of more than 200 million yuan.
