On January 10, Baosteel and Weilai held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony at Weilai Company in Jiading, Shanghai, marking the start of a new journey of strategic cooperation between the two parties.
Witnessed by the leaders of China Baowu Party Committee Standing Committee, Baosteel Party Secretary and Chairman Zou Jixin and NIO Founder, Chairman and CEO Li Bin, Baosteel Party Standing Committee Member and Deputy General Manager Hu Hong and NIO Senior Vice President Zeng Shuxiang On behalf of their respective enterprises, they signed the “Baosteel-NIO Strategic Cooperation” agreement.
Li Bin, founder, chairman and CEO of NIO, said that NIO needs global partners like Baosteel to work together in product, supply chain, technological innovation, new material application and zero-carbon path.
Zou Jixin, member of the Standing Committee of China Baowu Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Baosteel Co., Ltd., said that non-oriented silicon steel and automotive sheets are Baosteel’s products with absolute advantages, and QCDDS is the core competitiveness of Baosteel’s comprehensive material solutions. In the future, the two sides will strengthen “green and low-carbon” cooperation, share the “dual carbon” mission, and contribute to China’s strength.
