I mentioned before that in the early Qing Dynasty, there were three sources of minting coins. One of them was called Yunnan copper and Qian lead. Some friends said that Yunnan copper was not used in the Kangxi period. Is this statement accurate or inaccurate? I mentioned it briefly before.
Yunnan copper and Guizhou lead were first mined in the Kangxi period. Of course, Yunnan copper and Guizhou lead were used in the Kangxi period, but they were not used on a large scale. When did they start to be used on a large scale? Until the Qianlong period, the Yongzheng period was only a transitional period, and it has also been promoted.

I mentioned that the price of foreign copper and Japanese lead has been rising continuously, which has led to the higher and higher cost of purchasing monetary resources by the Qing government. It is a process in which Yunnan copper and Guizhou lead gradually replaced foreign copper and Japanese lead.

So to sum up, in the Kangxi period, Yunnan copper and Guizhou lead were actually used, but the scope of its use was not nationwide, and it was only during the Qianlong period that Yunnan copper and Guizhou lead were basically used nationwide. Hope Everyone has a certain understanding of this.
