In August 2021, CATL signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Lingang, with a planned investment of 2.8 billion yuan. The project will rely on CATL’s world-leading extreme manufacturing system and the construction experience of global lighthouse factories to build a green, efficient and intelligent area in Lingang New Area.
