The first pilot observation meeting for high-end environmentally friendly new productivity of lost foam casting was successfully held on September 21st and 22nd at the beautiful Weishan Lake.

  

  The observation meeting was guided by the China Green Industry Innovation Alliance and hosted by the Zhongnan Casting and Smelting Technology Innovation Center and Weishan County Hanrun Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. A total of 300 experts, scholars, industry representatives, relevant media, colleagues in the foundry industry and exhibitors were invited to participate. Focusing on the theme of “China's Lost Foam Casting Moves towards Environmental Protection and High Quality”, we actively discussed Weishan County Hanrun Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Introducing a series of advanced technologies developed by Professor Liu Yuman's team from Zhongnan Casting and Metallurgy, including Guilin No. 5 coating, negative pressure air burning and carbon-free technology, high-frequency vibration casting high-density crystallization technology, gasification empty shell new generation precision casting technology and “Zhongnan Casting No. 1” industrial waste gas purification technology, etc., and fully apply it to actual production, develop the “new trend and new future” of the green foundry industry, provide suggestions, share experience, and look forward to the new industrial pattern.

  At the meeting, Hanrun Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and the China Green Industry Innovation Alliance Zhongnan Casting and Smelting Technology Innovation Center jointly established the Zhongnan Casting and Smelting Weishan Lake Science and Technology Center, and held an awarding and unveiling ceremony. In the future, the science and technology center will further fully apply the advanced technology developed by Professor Liu Yuman's team to actual production in the form of “production, learning and research” + base, take root and cultivate intensively. Work together with colleagues in the foundry industry to encourage each other, exchange knowledge, and work hand in hand to work hard for the revitalization of China's foundry industry and move forward bravely in the direction of developing new quality productivity.

  

  It is understood that the “Zhongzhu No. 1” industrial waste gas purification technology was organized by the Machinery Industry Environmental Protection Industry Development Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission in September 2022. An expert group led by Professor Peng Yingdeng and Professor Zhang Fan conducted research on Zhongnan Casting and Smelting Materials in Guilin City. Innovative scientific and technological achievements evaluated by the “Integrated purification technology and device for high-temperature oxygen-rich turbojet combustion and water-medium quenching of organic waste gas in the foundry industry” independently developed by the institute and Guilin Zhongzhu Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. The expert group unanimously believed that the results of this project are the first of its kind in China, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level. Among them, the turbojet combustion purification technology has reached the international leading level, and has broad prospects for promotion and application. This device is also the first time that aviation turbojet combustion technology is used for organic waste gas purification. It can increase the combustion temperature, extend the combustion time, and achieve complete combustion and purification of organic waste gases such as benzene and dioxins. The integrated purification device has the functions and characteristics of high-temperature oxygen-rich combustion, water-medium quenching and exhaust gas integrated purification. It solves problems such as flash explosions of flammable exhaust gas and ensures the safe and stable operation of the device system. At the same time, the device has obvious advantages with novel design, stable operation, emission standards, and low price.

  

  At present, there are about 30,000 foundries in my country, and casting smoke is very harmful, especially when it comes to foundries such as lost foam, resin sand, coated sand, pulverized coal sand, and investment molds. Since the release of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's “Ten Measures” for the atmosphere, the thermal power, cement, steel and other fields have achieved very obvious results. However, for the foundry industry, small and medium-sized foundries are mostly scattered and scattered, and there are still many foundry flue gases that have not achieved super Low emissions. The main reason is that the composition of foundry flue gas is complex, including 8 major categories of pollutants such as dioxins, benzene, benzene series, non-methane aromatic hydrocarbons, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, harmful metal smoke, and particulate matter, which is extremely difficult to treat. Hanrun Machinery Company introduced the “Zhongzhu No. 1” industrial waste gas purification technology, providing a model for solving the problem of foundry waste gas. At this observation meeting, “Zhongzhu No. 1” worked hard to treat foundry waste gas on site, attracting the attention of many industry colleagues. Everyone observes and exchanges opinions together to empower the overall development of the foundry industry and promote the industry to improve new productivity.
