Zhou Bingke also very much agrees with the meaning of his work and is also very popular with students.
He is responsible for the practical teaching and innovative teaching of welding work types in the forming manufacturing laboratory. He mainly participates in two courses. One is a compulsory course for some engineering students of Tsinghua University-the welding unit in the “metal craft practice”; the other is “manufacturing”. Zhou Bingke and Xing Xiaoying both won the first prize in the 2021 practical teaching lecture competition held by the Basic Industry Training Center of Tsinghua University.

She said: “I graduated from a higher vocational college, so what? I can continue to learn! There are many role models around me, and they inspired me. I applied for an in-service undergraduate degree at China University of Geosciences as soon as I worked, and now I have an undergraduate degree. Educational qualifications. In order to improve my professional level, I tried my best to obtain an engineer qualification. I was afraid that I did not graduate from a normal college and my lectures were not good enough. I also got a teacher qualification certificate… I didn’t have a high starting point, but I can always make progress!”
Such vigorous and upward strength in Xing Xiaoying comes from the influence of her father on her. She felt that although her father had lived in the rural areas of Weinan, Shaanxi all his life, the pattern was not small, and there was a kind of “more frustration, more courage” in him.
“When I was a child, our family was farming at the beginning. Later, my father took several families in our village to build a greenhouse. He didn’t give up when he failed to build a greenhouse. He went to start a business again. Both he and my mother, regardless of the wind. It rained and I went to the market to sell cloth every day. Slowly, the situation at home improved, I built a house, bought a car, and now I have my own bedding shop.” Xing Xiaoying said, “My father taught me the philosophy That’s right, what if you fail? You can come again! What if you don’t have a good exam? You can take another exam! Of course it’s great to get into a good university. If you don’t get into a good university, you can always find another way out.”
Obviously, the history of her father’s struggle has deeply planted the seeds of hard work in Xing Xiaoying’s heart, helping her to grow up in the otherwise fertile soil of life.
