On December 23, the 7th China Foundry Industry Cluster Annual Conference and Industrial Cluster Innovation and Development Experience Exchange Conference hosted by China Foundry Association and undertaken by Jiahe County People’s Government was held in Jiahe County. Zhang Libo, vice chairman of China Machinery Industry Federation and chairman of China Foundry Association, attended the meeting and delivered an opening speech.
The purpose of this conference is to promote the transformation experience of characteristic clusters, build an industrial cluster development exchange platform, guide the foundry industry cluster to adapt to relevant national policy requirements, gradually build an industrial cluster ecosystem, and achieve green and smart development.
In recent years, Jiahe County Party Committee and County Government have conscientiously implemented the new development concept, vigorously implemented the transformation and upgrading of the foundry industry, and actively promoted the transformation of traditional casting to precision casting, showing a good situation of industrial upgrading and booming production and sales. At present, Jiahe has more than 100 foundry companies, with more than 40 types of foundry products and more than 1,000 types. They are sold well in domestic markets such as Guangdong, Guangxi, and Shanghai, and exported to more than 30 countries and regions in Europe, America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. They have been awarded ” National Foundry Industry Cluster Pilot County”, “Hunan Province Foundry Industry Base”, “Jiangnan Foundry Capital” and other honorary titles, this year was also awarded the province’s county-level foreign trade characteristic industrial cluster pilot counties (casting and forging), and “Hunan Foundry Craftsman” was ranked No. The third national “employment-driven” labor service brand and “my most concerned” labor service brand.
This conference invited industry experts and industry cluster representatives to give keynote reports on industry development trends, industry rectification and upgrading, and cluster service platform construction, and share advanced experience. The meeting also held the re-appointment of the industrial cluster working committee, industry commendation and strategic cooperation signing ceremony. Participants will also visit some local enterprises in Jiahe County.
Municipal Standing Committee Member and Deputy Mayor Ma Tianyi attended the meeting and delivered a speech. More than 300 representatives from more than 40 industrial clusters and more than 100 enterprises across the country attended the meeting.
