Daye Xifeng foundry blast furnace ignited and put into production

On December 20, the blast furnace of Xifeng Casting Company, located in Chengui Town, Daye, was officially ignited and put into production. This is the second casting “short process” project built in our province, and it is also a national model base.

The tall furnace body rushes into the sky, and workers are intensively working under the blue smoke collector. Xifeng Casting Chairman Xi Chengsong said: “After the two 140 cubic meters of blast furnaces are put into production, they will produce more than 1,000 tons of pig iron every day, which will add more than 300,000 tons of production capacity to the casting industry in our province each year.” The molten iron produced by Xifeng Casting is nearby. Supply the nearby Hangyu Xinbao which is separated by a wall as raw materials, and the surplus gas produced will be used as the annealing fuel for Hangyu Xinbao. This “blast furnace + cast pipe” matching is a typical casting “short process” project, and it is also a project encouraged and recommended by the national industrial policy for many years. It is reported that “Xinbao” is China’s earliest ductile iron pipe brand and a famous trademark in Hubei Province. It has a 10% domestic market share and is exported to India, the Middle East and other countries and regions.

Xi Chengsong, who is the chairman of the two companies, said that while doing a good job in production and operation, he will accelerate the second phase of the transformation project, and strive to realize the joint production of Xifeng Casting and Hangyu Xinbao Casting Pipe as soon as possible, and build it into a national casting “short” Process” model base. By then, the two companies will achieve an annual output of 350,000 tons of cast pig iron, 300,000 tons of ductile iron pipes, 500,000 tons of pellets, and 10,000 tons of pipe fittings, an annual output value of 3 billion yuan, and employment of more than 1,300 people. They will enter the national foundry field. Forefront.
