Recently, Dongfang Hope has successfully put into operation the aluminum ash processing equipment in Baotou Aluminum Round Bar Work Zone, becoming the first company in the group to put into operation the aluminum ash processing equipment.
Aluminum ash is the product of the cooling of slag produced by the casting aluminum production process. It contains metal aluminum, aluminum oxide and aluminum nitride. Although it is a solid waste, it has certain recycling value. Baotou Aluminum adheres to the group’s value concept of “eliminating all forms of waste”, and has introduced domestic advanced aluminum ash recycling and processing production equipment. Waste is treasure, realizing the reduction and recycling of solid waste. After being put into operation, the metal aluminum recovery rate of the equipment has increased by 18% compared with the original equipment, and the benefit has increased by 50%.
Dongfang Hope Baotou Aluminum is a downstream project of the Baotou aluminum industry chain of Dongfang Hope Group. The company adopts the mode of direct supply of molten aluminum to directly produce aluminum processed products to reduce metal loss and energy consumption caused by secondary remelting of aluminum ingots. After the project is put into operation, significant economic, environmental and social benefits have been achieved.
