BMW of Germany won the EUROGUSS 2022 European Excellent Die Casting Competition. It used Italpresse Gauss’ TF5700+ equipment to successfully transform the automotive safety-related structural parts that originally required 16 parts into an integral die-casting part. It weighed more than 6 kilograms, which impressed the jury and finally won the award. This is the first time that a European die-casting company has successfully produced super-large one-piece structural parts with a high-pressure die-casting machine of more than 5,000 tons.

Built for high-end automotive die casting manufacturers

Italpresse Gauss’s TF5700 ton flexless two-plate die casting machine has a plate size of 3500 x 3500 mm, and larger sizes have become an inevitable trend as our customers are making increasingly larger die castings. To a certain extent, this is due to the current demand for lightweight vehicles and the integration of parts, and also due to the development of new energy vehicles. For example, the battery casing is a typical case. This model will be very suitable for providing new energy vehicles. Manufacturer of high quality die castings.

A reliable way to reduce scrap rates

What happens when you combine a sturdy closure, the hardest alloy steel formwork in the industry, the most balanced guide bar load, massive clamping force, and a hydraulic locking system that compensates for die geometry defects or thermal expansion ?

Stable production, minimized mold deformation and reduced scrap rate.

The right equipment for your foundry

Size matters – big doesn’t have to mean bulky. The TF5700 machine is a perfect example, maximizing every inch of space due to mold matching that exceeds the clamping force of many 3-platen machines but with a much smaller footprint (17700 x 6500 x 63000 mm), ideal for Foundries looking to optimize their productivity layout.

With intelligence as the standard – completely digital. The TF5700 can be connected to the cloud, other devices, software platforms such as Monitizer, and directly with Italpresse Gauss engineers to support your maintenance, upgrade or troubleshooting needs. Essentially, it’s ready to be part of your digital journey, no matter where you are.
