Ma’anshan Hanshan: “Design Empowerment Feilong New Material Cup” Sponge City Ecological Manhole Cover Innovation Design Special Competition and Anhui Green Foundry Industrial Design Forum Held
On August 12, the 9th Anhui Province Industrial Design Competition “Design Empowerment • Feilong New Material Cup” Sponge City Ecological Manhole Cover Innovation Design Special Competition and Anhui Province Green Foundry Industrial Design Forum were successfully held in Hanshan County, Ma’anshan City.
This special competition was approved by the Anhui Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology, under the guidance and supervision of the Organizing Committee of the 9th Anhui Provincial Industrial Design Competition in 2022, in the Anhui Industrial Design Industry Alliance, Maanshan Economic and Information Technology Bureau, Under the guidance of the People’s Government of Hanshan County, and with the support of Hanshan County’s economic and informatization data, it is an industrial design competition sponsored by Anhui Feilong New Materials Co., Ltd. for ecological manhole covers, artistic manhole covers, and intelligent manhole covers.
Li Qilong, chairman of Anhui Feilong New Materials Co., Ltd., the organizer of the event forum, hopes that through this event, industrial design can better play the role of “touching stone into gold”, and promote Feilong manhole covers and groove casting products to be important to industrial design. The understanding of nature will promote the development of Maanshan’s manufacturing industry to the direction of high-end industry, high-tech, high-quality products, and high-efficiency enterprises.
Subsequently, Wei Zhigang, director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Anhui University of Technology, doctor, professor and master tutor, introduced the organization of the competition. After four months of this special competition, a total of more than 620 works from 16 provinces and regions were received, including more than 80 participating units. Universities and a number of design agencies and freelance designers.

Subsequently, experts conducted a centralized review of more than 620 works collected.
