The Heilongjiang Daily reported that at present, the construction of the mid-to-high-end powertrain base project and supporting facilities constructed by Harbin Dongan Automobile Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has been completed. The layout and marking of the production line and the installation and commissioning of production equipment are currently being carried out. Trial production can be realized within the year.
The total investment of the Dongan mid-to-high-end powertrain base project is 1 billion yuan, and the construction includes two parts: the 6AT automatic transmission expansion project and the D20TGDI engine upgrade project. After the project is put into use, the annual production capacity of 6AT automatic transmissions will be increased by 150,000 sets/year, and the annual production capacity of D20TGDI engines will reach 150,000 units.
