Shenzhen, China-Media OutReach-December 9, 2021-Southco’s Shenzhen Mold Center officially started production on November 30, and the Asia Pacific Executive Director Lu Jianjun presided over the celebration ceremony. The mold center started planning at the beginning of this year and started trial operation in July. There are currently 22 production equipment and 34 employees.
Southco Shenzhen Mold Center is located in Pengzhou Industrial Park, Fuyong Road, Bao’an District, Shenzhen, covering an area of approximately 1,100 square meters. After the center is put into production, it will mainly design and manufacture zinc/aluminum die-casting molds, single/continuous stamping molds, and injection and overmolding molds. At the same time, it will also be responsible for the introduction and trial operation of innovative mold technology.
At this celebration ceremony, Lu Jianjun expressed his gratitude to the project team and the employees of the mold center, and congratulated the start of construction. He said: “Shenzhen Mold Center is an important support for Southco’s mold business in the medium and long-term development plan, and will be responsible for the future. It is the important task of mold development and manufacturing in the Asia-Pacific region and the world. After the Shenzhen mold center is put into production, it will greatly improve the production efficiency and continuously improve the core competitiveness of Southco mold equipment through process optimization, manufacturing technology improvement, and centralized resource management. .”
In order to actively respond to the fast-growing business needs and ensure the manufacture and delivery of goods, Southco’s factory has been expanded in the second quarter and has been put into operation. And this time, the formal commissioning of the Shenzhen Mold Center can increase the production line capacity and efficiency by 50% again, and further strengthen the production capacity of products. Southco will gradually build the Shenzhen Mold Center into a global mold center.
In the future, Southco will implement the “Five-Year Business Development Strategy” one by one. Actively research the possibility of site selection and construction of additional factories in cities other than Shanghai and Shenzhen. In response to the needs of customers in the Asia-Pacific region, we will consider adding more production lines in Southeast Asia and further improve the product supply chain to expand and respond to more overseas customer needs.
