Guangdong Hesheng Industrial Aluminum Co., Ltd. (“Hesheng”) issued an announcement that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Anhui Hesheng New Energy Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (“Anhui Hesheng”), intends to invest in the construction of and Shengxin Energy Automobile High-end Components Project (Phase I) is to conduct research and development and manufacturing of new energy vehicle power battery structural parts, body structural parts and other products. The total investment is expected to not exceed 1.5 billion yuan, and the planned land area is about 270 acres.
According to previous announcements, in March this year, Anhui Hesheng signed the “Investment Contract” and its “Supplementary Agreement” with the Maanshan Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee. New energy vehicle high-end parts project, research and development and manufacturing of battery boxes, aluminum shells, batteries, module parts, body parts, etc. On December 15, the announcement issued by Hesheng shares showed that the framework contract signed by Anhui Hesheng and Ma’anshan has not been implemented yet, but the transitional plant provided by the local government has been used to carry out the project construction in advance.
