As an old industrial base, the equipment manufacturing industry in our province not only has traditional advantages, but also faces the challenges and opportunities of transformation and upgrading. In the past 2021, the annual sales volume of China’s FAW Hongqi brand exceeded 300,000 units, a year-on-year increase of more than 50% and a growth rate of 10 times the industry average. So far, the Hongqi brand has created a miracle of a 63-fold increase in sales over the past four years, playing a strong voice in the rise of a national auto brand.
Self-developed engine, transmission technology, high-power hydrogen fuel cell engine, driverless minibus, pure electric SUV… Under the trend of “new four modernizations” of automobiles, one new technology has become a reality in our province, and it continues to climb the industry. In recent years, Changke has successively completed the research and development of more than 100 new products such as the “Fuxing” Chinese standard EMU with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, a new generation of intelligent subway trains, and Guangdong Qingyuan maglev trains, leading the development direction of global rail transit equipment. Among the 254 important standards involved in the Chinese standard EMU “Fuxing” with completely independent intellectual property rights, “Chinese standard” accounts for as high as 84%. “Changke made” has become a sought-after product in the international market, entered the high-end international market, and exported to the United States, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand and many other countries and regions.

On October 7, 2015, my country’s first commercial high-resolution remote sensing satellite, “Jilin-1”, independently developed by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Since then, the number of “Jilin-1” satellites has rapidly increased to 31, forming the largest constellation of optical remote sensing satellites in my country.
In 2021 alone, the annual production capacity of Changguang Satellite will exceed 100 satellites, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent constellation construction; a series of operational remote sensing applications have been launched in the fields of agriculture, forestry, water conservancy and environmental protection, with nearly 300 satellites throughout the year. Industry units provide high-quality remote sensing information services. Changguang Satellite has entered the ranks of national specialized, specialized and new enterprises, and its development speed has been accelerated again. During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Changguang Satellite is expected to achieve a network of 138 satellites, with the ability to revisit any location in the world within 10 minutes, and gradually form an industrial cluster from satellite research and development, production to remote sensing information processing and application.
