The “2021 Chengdu Metropolitan Foundry Annual Meeting and the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Association” was grandly held at the Yuping Mountain Forest Health Resort Hotel in Hongya, Sichuan Province from December 28 to 30, 2021. The conference was sponsored by Chengdu Foundry Industry Association, Foundry Branch of Chengdu Mechanical Engineering Society, and co-organized by the “Chuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, and Guizhou” Foundry Association in the southwest region. The meeting also held the “10th Anniversary Celebration of Chengdu Foundry Industry Association”.
At 20:30 on the 28th, a bonfire party for the tenth anniversary of the founding of the “Chengdu Foundry Industry Association” was held. The guests present were: Deputy Secretary General of the Industrial Cluster Working Committee of China Foundry Association, Secretary of Liyang Green Foundry Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance Chairman Wu Qihong, Secretary General of Yunnan Foundry Association Niu Wenfeng, Technical Consultant of National Electric Furnace Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Expert Consultant of China Foundry Association Smelting Technology and Equipment Branch Secretariat Mao Gang, Secretary General of Hubei Shiyan Foundry Association Chen Wei, Secretariat Director Zhu Xiaohong, Specialist Liu Hantao, Professor Zeng Ming of the Foundry Branch of the Chengdu Mechanical Engineering Society, and Zhang Jianxiang of the Chengdu Foundry Industry Association, attended the party as well as other fraternal guests, member units and casting colleagues. On behalf of the association council, President Zhang Jianxiang reviewed the work of the association in the past 10 years and determined the development direction of the association in the future. A variety of cultural and recreational activities were held during the party.
On the 29th, the opening ceremony of the “2021 Chengdu Metropolitan Foundry Annual Meeting” was held from 9:30 to 10:00. Attending the meeting were Wu Qihong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Industrial Cluster Working Committee of China Foundry Association, Niu Wenfeng, Secretary-General of Yunnan Foundry Association, Mao Gang, Technical Consultant of the National Electric Furnace Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Chairman of Hubei Shiyan Foundry Association Chen Weishu, Specialist Liu Hantao, Chengdu More than 140 people attended the meeting, including Professor Zeng Ming of the Foundry Branch of the Municipal Mechanical Engineering Society, Zhang Jianxiang, President of the Chengdu Foundry Industry Association, and leaders, guests, and representatives of upstream and downstream enterprises from other brother provinces and cities. President Zhang Jianxiang delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, focusing on reviewing the association’s work in the past year and future work ideas and plans.

In the morning, representatives of Guangyuan Qingchuan Park also conducted industrial investment promotion activities.

During the conference, a small indoor exhibition was also held, and more than 30 manufacturers of foundry materials, equipment and castings participated.
More than 140 people including representatives of upstream and downstream foundry enterprises participated in this conference, which is a grand event for the foundry industry in the western region. The participating companies fully understood that green, intelligent and high-quality development has become the leading direction of the future development of the foundry industry, and actively promote intelligent manufacturing, high-tech , The application of high-end equipment in the foundry industry, promote the transformation and upgrading of the foundry industry, strive to achieve the healthy, green and intelligent development of the foundry industry in the region, and at the same time enhance the communication and cooperation between enterprises.
