At present, the company has obtained 4 national invention patents and 33 national utility patents, and has developed and mass-produced new energy vehicle integrated die-casting battery boxes, liquid-cooled motor housings, manifold pipes, electric control boxes, hydrogen cylinder brackets, mold Group end plate, 5G control box and other magnesium alloy products.

Yu Hongjun revealed that Qianhe Magnesium was established in April 2017 and currently has 3 die-casting production lines, equipped with follow-up CNC machining centers (including 5 large American Lijia), friction stir welding production lines, micro-arc oxidation production lines, passivation production lines, Electrophoretic coating production line, etc., constitute a complete production line of magnesium alloy products. The company has a sound product research and development system, quality inspection system, performance testing system and after-sales service system.

The performance advantages of magnesium alloy materials are very obvious. According to Liu Zhen, the density of magnesium alloys is very small, only 1.8g/cm3, which is 36% smaller than that of aluminum alloys and 77% smaller than that of steel; in terms of specific strength and specific stiffness, magnesium alloys have The tensile strength and stiffness per unit mass are higher than those of steel and aluminum, which are 10 times that of general plastics; and the anti-damping of magnesium alloys, the shock absorption coefficient is 20 times that of aluminum and more than 5 times that of steel.

Not only that, the magnesium alloy material has high stability, high dimensional accuracy of casting and machining, and can be machined with high precision. Since molten magnesium does not react with steel, this makes it easier to automate production operations in hot chamber die casting machines, while also extending the life of steel molds. Compared with aluminum die casting, magnesium casting mold life can be 1.5 to 2 times longer than the former, and it can usually maintain more than 150,000 die casting operations.

Because magnesium alloy has good casting properties, and its liquid fluidity is better than that of aluminum, its melting point is low and energy consumption is low, and it can produce thin-walled parts, which are suitable for various parts of automobiles. At the same time, due to its good cutting performance, the cutting resistance is 56% of that of aluminum alloys, which makes magnesium the most easy-to-cut metal material.

According to reports, because the latent heat of fusion of magnesium alloy is much lower than that of aluminum alloy, it consumes less energy than aluminum alloy, so it is easy to recycle, save resources and energy, and reduce cost and environmental pollution. In addition, magnesium alloy also has high heat dissipation, the convection diffusion and heat dissipation efficiency of heat source is better than that of aluminum alloy, and the thermal conductivity of magnesium alloy is better than that of general structural metal, which can quickly disperse the heat source.

It is worth noting that magnesium alloys have excellent electromagnetic shielding properties. Because magnesium alloys are non-magnetic metals, they can also effectively prevent electromagnetic interference and provide anti-electromagnetic protection for the shells of 3C products and new energy vehicle battery packs.
