Tesla’s 8,000-ton Giga Press giant die-casting machine for Cybertruck is said to start operations next month

The official opening day of Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory is approaching, and it is rumored that the first Model Y deliveries may happen before the end of March. The new factory will not only produce the Model Y, but plans to build the Cybertruck, an electric pickup truck, has been delayed until 2023 according to other rumors. While it’s early days for production, new news says Tesla will complete a major milestone in Cybertruck production, starting next month’s first 8,000-ton Giga Press giant die-casting machine. Recent drone footage also shows that Tesla has prepared the foundations for two additional giant die-casting machines.
