Committed to the success of technological transformation, the road is full of ups and downs
In 2014, he presided over the transformation of the traditional manhole cover production line and developed the first hydrostatic ductile iron manhole cover professional production line in China, breaking through the technical barriers of Germany and Japan in this field.
Before 2014, the company’s original ductile iron manhole covers were all made by hand. Not only was the working environment dirty, messy, and poor, but also the work efficiency was low, and the qualified rate of finished products was only between 70% and 80%, which could not fully meet the needs of customers. With more than 20 years of technical transformation and practical production experience, Yan Jundun led the company’s technical center team to start the research and development of the automatic production line for manhole covers. After 8 months, the first debugging results made everyone’s mood plummet. But Yan Jundun was not discouraged, and encouraged everyone: “The road to research and development cannot be smooth sailing, because we are crossing the river by feeling the stones and taking a road that has not been traveled before, but I believe we will succeed.” He took the lead in working late every day. In addition to researching drawings with the technical team, he also went to the workshop production line to practice. For two consecutive months, he basically went back to rest at two or three in the morning. He originally suffered from lumbar disc herniation, because he had to stand in the workshop for several hours every day to observe, debug and correct the production line, which made the original back injury more serious and the pain was unbearable. The unique spirit of death, gritted his teeth and persevered. After another two months, the production line, which has condensed the efforts of everyone in the company and made Chairman Yan Jundun work almost with his life, finally lived up to expectations, ran normally and started production.
Innovation is endless, leading the industry standard

After years of exploration and careful summarization, he finally A relatively complete set of industry standards has been formed. Under his active initiative and after many appeals, in September 2016, the China Foundry Association held a national review meeting on the industry standard of “ductile iron manhole cover grates and accessories” in Jincheng City. The standard was released in December 2016. month to implement.
