Maanshan Daily reported that the Shuaiyichi new aluminum alloy material project with an annual output of 200,000 tons in Hanshan Economic and Technological Development Zone of Maanshan City is currently undergoing civil construction and roof steel structure construction of No. 2 plant, and it is planned to be completed by the end of August this year. In addition, No. 3 and No. 4 workshops are about to enter the steel structure construction stage. The project leader, Ying Hui, said in an interview that the project will be put into production in November this year.
It is understood that the project was invested by Shuaiyichi New Materials Group Co., Ltd. (“Shuaiyichi Group”) to invest 550 million yuan to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Hanshan – Shuaiyichi (Anhui) New Material Technology Co., Ltd. to implement the project construction. . The planned land area is about 90 mu and the total construction area is 30,000 square meters. It is mainly engaged in the production and sales of high thermal conductivity aluminum alloy, ultra-high-strength aluminum alloy and recycled high-end aluminum alloy new materials. The products are mainly used in high-demand new aluminum alloy materials such as automobile parts manufacturing, communication product materials, aerospace materials, and precision machinery manufacturing.
It is understood that Shuaiyichi Group is a group enterprise specializing in the research and development, manufacturing, sales and trade of aluminum alloys. In 2012, on the basis of the aluminum alloy ingot business, the group innovated the product model and took the lead in the industry to realize the direct supply of liquid aluminum alloy in medium and long distances, which greatly saved the manufacturing cost and environmental protection emissions for the downstream die-casting enterprises. In addition, adhering to the business strategy of “aluminum liquid transportation service” has also enabled the company to achieve rapid development. At present, aluminum alloy ingots and direct supply of liquid aluminum alloy (liquid aluminum) have become one of the main businesses of Shuaiyichi.
In recent years, Shuai Yichi has been actively exploring the market. With Shanghai Jinshan as its headquarters, it has successively set up factories in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Chongqing, Henan and Guangdong. While expanding the production scale of molten aluminum, Shuaiyichi also pays attention to the quality of distribution services and products, so that the group has maintained rapid growth for many years, and the company has become one of the first enterprises to carry out “carbon footprint” certification among similar products in China. one.
With the development of new energy vehicle structural parts in the direction of “lightweight” and “integration”, the market’s requirements for materials are getting higher and higher, which brings business opportunities for material suppliers. As the first aluminum alloy enterprise in China to deploy non-heat-treated body structural parts, Shuai Yichi has accumulated a lot of experience in the application of non-heat-treated body structural aluminum alloys in recent years. Its flagship product is the high-strength and tough cast aluminum alloy named EZCAST™ series. At present, this aluminum alloy product has become one of the main businesses of Shuaiyichi.
It is understood that as early as the 1990s, the EZCAST series of alloys developed by Alcoa already possessed heat-free properties and were successfully applied to the all-aluminum body structure of Audi A8. After more than 10 years of optimization and improvement, EZCAST series alloys have been able to meet the customized needs of different customers for the mechanical properties of parts. In March 2020, Shuai Yichi reached an agreement with Alcoa to become the exclusive authorized manufacturing and sales enterprise of Alcoa’s patented new alloy materials and proprietary technologies in China. In October 2021, Shuaiyichi, as a joint partner, helped NIO successfully develop heat-free materials that can be used to manufacture large-scale die-casting parts, which will be applied to NIO’s second-generation platform models in the future.
