In late April, Jiang Shengping, a copper and aluminum hand-sand foundry in Minxian County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, showed his old casting skills to his apprentices. The 55-year-old coppersmith is exquisite in his craftsmanship, and the braziers, big bells, incense burners, and vases he made are exquisite. Copper-aluminum casting technology is a provincial intangible cultural heritage in Gansu Province. Its production technology and shape of utensils retain the traditional Chinese casting technology. It has a history of hundreds of years. Minxian craftsmen still insist on pure hand-made.
