Recently, the 2025 China College Students Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Competition-Casting Technology Design Competition National Finals and Award Ceremony ended in Shanghai. Through the school competition, regional competition, preliminary evaluation of the finals, on-site defense of the finals, etc., the nine entries submitted by Wuhan University of Technology have achieved excellent results of 1 first prize, 3 second prizes and 3 third prizes.
It is reported that the casting process design competition is a sub-conference of the national event “China College Students Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Competition” and has been included in the national general college subject competition rankings for eight consecutive years. This competition attracted 1,548 works from 159 universities including Harbin Institute of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southeast University, Central South University, Jilin University, Dalian University of Technology, and Northeastern University to sign up for the competition, with a total of 5,461 students participating.
