In order to let students experience the new quality productivity and high-quality development achievements of their hometown, Cangzhou Luhua Primary School organized students to visit Botou City, which is known as the “Hometown of Casting” and carried out the theme practice activity of “Exploring the Lost Wax Casting Technology from the Shang Dynasty”.
Under the enthusiasm of the foundry head, the students entered the casting exhibition hall and production workshop to visit. From ancient molds covered with rust, to dazzling modern castings, from replica models of bronze techniques in the Shang Dynasty, to the accurate and accurate operation process of intelligent production lines, students witnessed with their own eyes how a piece of copper was finally transformed into a beautiful finished product through a series of processes such as smelting, molding, casting, and grinding. The workers' concentrating operational status and strict control of subtleties have deeply impressed the students. Subsequently, the children also tried casting and iron lion model making techniques to immerse themselves in the charm of casting.
This practical activity not only allowed the students to truly touch the long-standing civilization forged, but also sowed the seeds of cultural confidence in their hearts.
