Zhang Jianyun innovatively proposed a “stainless steel + ceramic” composite riser tube solution, which successfully increased the life of the core tooling of the “Fuxing” high-speed rail gearbox by 10 times, making contributions to the quality stability and cost control of key national products. The “Research on Forming Process Improvement and Quality Control of Aluminum Gearbox Castings for High-Speed EMUs” he presided over won the CRRC Science and Technology Award, becoming the first foundry worker to receive the award on stage.
Zhang Jianyun led the team to work hard on key problems and participated in the formulation of the international standard “Nodularity Rate of Ductile Iron”. He has 3 authorized patents, including 2 invention patents, and published 6 papers, pushing “Chinese wisdom” to the world stage.
Zhang Jianyun independently produced more than 20 pieces of casting training courseware and conducted more than 300 class hours of various foundry skills improvement training. Relying on the “Zhang Jianyun Skills Master Studio”, he has trained a group of young technical backbones and formed a good talent echelon effect. Four of them have won the title of “National Technical Experts in the Foundry Industry”. His team has completed a number of research projects and created significant economic benefits.
