Recently, at the construction site of the Anhui Baomei Light Alloy Project, the progress of land leveling has reached 90%, and other work is also being carried out in an orderly manner, making preparations for the next step of construction. The project is jointly invested by Yunhai Metal and Baosteel Metal and Qingyang Construction to establish a joint venture company-Anhui Baomei Light Alloy Co., Ltd. as the main body of the project.
It is understood that the Anhui Baomagnesium Light Alloy Project is located in Tongbu New District, Xinhe Town, Qingyang County. The total investment of the project is 11.2 billion yuan, covering an area of about 2,200 acres. The main construction is to produce 300,000 tons of high-performance magnesium-based light alloy, 150,000 tons of magnesium alloy die-casting parts, an annual output of 1 million tons of flux, 25 million tons of aggregates and machine-made sand projects.
Among them, the 300,000-ton high-performance magnesium-based light alloy project has passed the environmental assessment. The project builds new facilities such as rotary kiln production line, raw material preparation workshop, reduction workshop, refined alloy workshop, reduction slag treatment workshop, magnesium alloy slag treatment workshop and machine repair workshop. According to the project plan, Qingyang County will make full use of the rich and high-quality dolomite ore resources to build a domestic and international leading magnesium-based light alloy and deep processing base.
