In April 2020, the Henan Provincial Pollution Prevention and Control Office issued the “Three-Year Action Plan for the “Electricity Substitution of Coal” in Tobacco Barns in the Province”, and comprehensive deployment of the province’s tobacco barns to “replace coal with electricity”.

However, the use of the tobacco leaf electric curing barn is seasonal. Generally, it is used for about two months in August and September each year. Hu Wantao said, “The province has invested more than 2 billion yuan in the construction and renovation of tobacco leaf electric curing houses. Although the tobacco farmers did not take a cent, but with the use of space, the loss of power supply equipment and other resources, the ten months of idleness caused social resources. In order to improve the efficiency of the tobacco electric curing barn, Hu Wantao made the following suggestions.

The second is to convene a resource utilization exchange meeting for tobacco electric roasting houses to break the situation of “unknowing each other” of resources, use statistical resources, offline and online multiple channels to conduct timely exchanges of electric roasting room utilization resources, and increase the proportion of deep processing of agricultural products such as mushrooms and fungus. The third is the technical communication between investors, farmers and manufacturers. From the design stage, the design of a variety of agricultural products electric roasting is considered, and the design is further improved in terms of space, hierarchy, and automatic control.
