Recently, there were three seminars on the mandatory national standard working group of “Safety Requirements for Foundry Machinery”, recommended national standard seminars on “General Technical Specifications for Remanufacturing of Foundry Machinery” and recommended national standard seminars on “Test Method for Clamping Force of Die Casting Machines”. The national standard work conference was held consecutively in Nan’an Zhongji Standardization Research Institute.
Improve the standard and lead the development of the industry in depth
Recently, there were three seminars on the mandatory national standard working group of “Safety Requirements for Foundry Machinery”, recommended national standard seminars on “General Technical Specifications for Remanufacturing of Foundry Machinery” and recommended national standard seminars on “Test Method for Clamping Force of Die Casting Machines”. The national standard work conference was held consecutively in Nan’an Zhongji Standardization Research Institute. The meeting was sponsored by the National Foundry Machinery Standardization Technical Committee, and co-organized by Fengzhou Town People’s Government, Nan’an Market Supervision Administration and Nan’an Zhongji Standardization Research Institute.
In order to ensure the quality of the standard and gather wisdom and consensus, this meeting attracted more than 60 expert representatives and working members of the drafting team from various stakeholders of foundry equipment to attend. In addition, many experts from the China Machinery Industry Safety and Health Association and the National Machinery Safety Standardization Technical Committee were invited to discuss together to meet the development requirements of foundry machinery and machinery safety, improve the depth of standards, and lead the development of the industry.
Foundry equipment is an important basic industry for the development of the national economy. It is the foundation of pillar industries such as automobiles, petrochemicals, steel, electric power, shipbuilding, and textiles. It is an important part of the equipment manufacturing industry. Without high-quality castings, it is impossible to have high performance equipment. The formulation of the mandatory national standard “Safety Requirements for Foundry Machinery” will specify the safety requirements and/or risk reduction measures for foundry machinery and their verification methods, as well as the use information. When used under misuse conditions reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer, the major hazards related to the machinery, as well as examples of dangerous states or dangerous events, will further improve the overall equipment safety level of my country’s foundry machinery industry, environmental protection awareness of energy conservation and emission reduction, and personal safety. Health and safety will play a positive role in promoting the structural adjustment, optimization and upgrading of the foundry machinery industry. The formulation of this standard will provide an entry threshold for the industry market, and it will be an important manifestation of my country’s technical regulations after its formulation.
As a big country of foundry machinery, my country’s research and application of remanufacturing in the field of foundry machinery is the only way for the development of the industry. The formulation of the national standard “General Technical Specifications for Remanufacturing of Foundry Machinery” will provide a unified standard and guidance for the whole process of remanufacturing of foundry machinery, which is of great significance for ensuring the quality of remanufacturing of foundry machinery and promoting the healthy development of the remanufacturing industry of foundry machinery. The construction of the foundry machinery remanufacturing standard system and the improvement of the foundry machinery standardization system have specific significance, and at the same time fill the gap in industry standards. The formulation of the national standard “Test Method for Die Casting Machine Clamping Force” will guide and promote the research and development, management and use of die casting machines in my country, and is of great significance to standardize the market order.
At the meeting, the experts carefully reviewed and revised the terms and technical content of the three standards, and finally reached a consensus.
