Dingding Industrial: Anchoring the cutting-edge technology to create “hard core” strength

On November 13, there was no noise or splashing of molten steel on the high-speed production line of Henan Dingding Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dingding Industrial). Each large-scale equipment was running rapidly, and 15 meters of CRB600H high-ductility cold-rolled ribbed steel bars rolled off the production line every second.
These steel bars will be sent to northwest, North China, East China, South China and other regions to be used in the bases, track slabs and self-compacting layers of dozens of national key high-speed railway projects such as the Xiongshang High-speed Railway, the North Yanjiang High-speed Railway, and the Jibin High-speed Railway.
“Compared with other specifications of steel bars, CRB600H high-ductility cold-rolled ribbed steel bars have higher strength and higher ductility. They are mainly used in engineering construction fields such as high-speed rail, highways, water conservancy and shipping, and urban construction. They are our company's core products in recent years, with a domestic market share of 90%.” Su Feng, general manager of Dingding Industry, said.
Founded in 2009, Dingding Industrial is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the research and development, production and sales of new steel products. In the past, the company's products were mainly targeted at the real estate market, with a relatively fixed production process and a single product style. In recent years, combined with the current status and prospects of the industry, the company has been guided by market demand, focusing on new processes, intelligent manufacturing and other fields, insisting on scientific research innovation and technological research, and has accumulated “hard-core” R&D and production capabilities for new building materials products such as high-ductility cold-rolled ribbed steel bars, steel welded mesh, heat-shrink insulated steel bars, etc.

We participated in the formulation of the national standard GB13788-2024 cold-rolled ribbed steel bars; participated in the corporate standard of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. The company has formulated the Q/CR955-2023 welded steel mesh for ballastless tracks; participated in the formulation of the Henan Provincial Engineering Construction Standard DBJ41/T167-2017CRB600H high-strength steel bar application technical regulations, and is also the first enterprise in the domestic cold-rolled ribbed steel bar industry to be certified by the CRCC product quality certification system of the China Railway Inspection and Certification Center.” Su Feng said.
The outstanding strength of advanced technology, complete industrial chain, and high product quality has enabled Dingding Industrial to win the honors of national-level specialized and new “little giant” enterprises, national-level “green factory” enterprises, national-level green supply chain management enterprises, and national-level high-tech enterprises. It has also won the favor of many large domestic customers.
In the first three quarters of this year, Dingding Industrial has produced approximately 200,000 tons of high-ductility cold-rolled ribbed steel bars and approximately 70,000 tons of welded steel bars.
“In the next step, we will continue to adhere to the innovation-driven struggle, anchor the technological frontier and continue to explore new processes and new methods in terms of technological innovation; in terms of equipment upgrading, we will introduce advanced technology and equipment to achieve an increase and decrease in output and energy consumption,” Su Feng said.
